Last Thursday, our own Roel Canafranca and Ariel del Rosario made another appearance on CTV Morning Live. We featured two dishes from our latest menu: Roasted Pork Belly Filibun w/ Pineapple Salsa and Pork Belly Sisig.
The Pork Belly Filibun was one of the first and most popular sandwiches we featured on our menu when we were set up at the Downtown Farmers Market. Check out the video:
Sisig is a very popular Filipino dish. It’s usually eaten as a “Pulutan” which are small, sharing dishes and accompanied with beer. It’s normally made with pig cheeks and ears but we’ve adapted it to local tastes and use pork belly instead. The pork belly is roughly chopped, sautéed with hot chilies, onions, garlic, and soy, and finished with our house made soy mayo.
